Juliane, it's nice to hear from you. Personally, I think the LockRack surfboard carrier part # LR97VR is a great option to carry your surfboard. We we were able to put one of these on my roof rack one day and it was super user intuitive. The arms basically lock around the shape of your surf board so it's nice and secure.
If you don't already have a roof rack on your Acura, you will need Inno Aero Roof Rack for Naked Roofs part # IN55NR.
