Troubleshooting A Non Working Left Turn Signal With A Hopkins Trailer Wiring Harness

I plugged this harness up and everything works except the left turn signal. I know it is not the bulb, because I have tried it on two different trailers. Could you please give me a suggestion for this harness?

Hey Ronnie,
I would start by checking the connectors for the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM42225. You could have a bent pin or maybe the connector didn't fully click into place. If you can't find an issue there then you would need to check the wiring of the harness with a multimeter # PT89ZR before and after to see if the left turn signal is properly sending through the converter box. If you're not getting the signal after the converter box then it is likely faulty and will need to be replaced.
