I’m looking to buy the hitch, fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter, are they all the same or do you need RV specs? Thanks

Hi Jeff,

To pick out the correct Gen-Y Gooseneck Pin Box you'll need to know your trailer's fully loaded pin weight and bolt pattern. You should be see a white sticker somewhere on your current pin box or on the body of the trailer right next it that lists the RPO #, LCI Item #, and Serial # which we can use to look up the bolt pattern.

Each of these pin boxes have a pin weight range that they work best with so it's important to get the correct one for a smooth ride. Gen-Y calculates pin weight by multiplying your trailer's GVWR by 0.22. Once we know the bolt pattern and pin weight I can pick out the correct fit for your trailer.
