Here are the parts I recommend using for towing a lightweight trailer with your 2024 Toyota RAV4:

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR
- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434
- Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # C83DR
- etrailer Pre-Torq Ball Mount for 2" Hitch # e38NR

I really like the etrailer hitch receiver because it has a hidden crosstube and is the only one with the matte black finish, which not only looks better but is more durable than the classic glossy black alternative.

The Curt wiring tees in behind your tail lights and is powered via the battery on your RAV4, and then the mounting brackets enable you to secure the 4-Way near your receiver for easy access.

Finally, the ball mount is all set and ready to go, and it will be compatible with trailer coupler heights in the 14" - 16" range when paired with the etrailer hitch.
