When looking to carry the Yakima Skybox NX 16, # Y95AV, I recommend the Yakima Roof Rack System.
For a complete system you will need the following parts:
Round 48 Inch CrossBars, # Y00408.
BaseLine towers, # Y28TR.
RoundBar adapters, # Y03536.
BaseClips, # Y06123 and # Y06135.
Just a reminder, you will want to check your owner's manual to confirm how much weight the roof of your Nissan Rogue can safely handle. You will need to account for the weight of the roof rack, the cargo box and whatever you intend to load into it. For example, if your Rogue can handle 100-lbs on its roof, then you need to deduct the weight of the Yakima roof rack system (approximately 15-lbs) and the weight of the SkyBox (approximately 48-lbs) to know how much cargo weight you can safely load. In this example you would have a cargo weight capacity of 38-lbs (100 - 15 - 48 = 37). The total combined weight of everything on your roof cannot exceed its rated capacity. Overloading can result in damage to your vehicle's roof.
To make the process of loading and unloading the cargo box a little easier, I recommend the use of the Wheel Mount Tire Step, # HE4040. This simple folding step slips over a rear tire to provide easier access to your box and folds up for storage.
