Hello Geoffrey. For your 2020 Toyota Highlander Limited AWD I recommend the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e75ZR. This hitch will be compatible with your T165/90D18 temporary tire. Anything larger than an 18" wheel would not fit, but you will be able to continue to store your spare under the vehicle with this hitch installed.

As far as the kick sensor, the hitch may interfere with it slightly. In almost every case, the sensor will still function, it will just work a bit differently. Instead of waving your foot directly under the sensor, you will need to wave your foot off to the side of the sensor. Once you find the "sweet spot" you will be able to operate the sensor just fine.

We can definitely get your 4-pin wiring as well. If your Highlander has the factory tow package you can use the Curt T-Connector # C55245. Vehicles without the tow package will use the Curt # C76CR instead.
