What Should Distance Be Between Front and Rear Fifth Wheel Rail

Question:
I have a 2014 F250 Super Duty 4wd 6.7l and the existing rail system is CMI I just received my BandW 18k sliding hitch system and am having trouble getting it to fit the rails. It seems to be jut a tad bit off for it to seat correctly Any thoughts or info?

Hey James, so industry standard fifth wheel rails should all be installed with the exact same dimensions between the mounting slots so what you are experiencing is odd but it could be evidence that the rails or the brackets were bent.
The distance between the front and rear rail slots needs to be 22 inches measured on center so you should verify that.
