Question:
Hi Whats the difference between a Fulton Fold Away Hitch HDPB330301 and HDPB330101 ? Im looking at installing this on a small boat trailer. Each side of the trailer consists of a 1 1/2 x 3 tube They join together to make a 3 x 3 tongue about 4 ft long. Thanks for your help.

I checked with Fulton and there's no difference other than the part numbers for their HDPB330101 and our item # FHDPB330301. This is common when they're sold by different vendors. They both fit a 3" x 3" trailer coupler, have a zinc finish, and are made of steel.
Since your boat trailer's tongue is 3" x 3" then the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit item # FHDPB330301 would work great for you. All the necessary hardware is included. You will want to ensure that your trailer's tongue material thickness is between .188" and .120".
I have linked an installation video below to show you how to get it set up.

Thanks Jerrod for your help and quick reply. My other issue is that the tongue is 2 sections of 1 1/2” x 3” tubing. Will there be enough room to get a wrench in there to hold the nut when tightening? Will it affect the strength of each tube after drilling 2 holes on the top and 2 more on the bottom of each tube? Thanking you in advance. Bob
