First David, just to be sure if you are going to need to cut down the Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers # YR10000 you will want to measure the width of your mounting brackets. This particular roller is 9-3/4" wide and designed to fit a 10" wide roller. As your trailer is older the rubber can shrink slightly over time and you may not need to cut the roller. If you do need to cut the roller down slightly do be sure to remove the end caps on this particular roller first as they will need to be reinserted after you cut down each side.
