Recommended 7-Way and Brake Controller for a 2020 Honda Pilot

I want to install a 7-pin plug on my 2020 Honda Pilot. Pilot currently is not fitted with hitch or trailer plug. Can you recommend a 7-pin plug kit compatible with the Pilots factory pre-installed plug. I will be pulling a 16-foot Scamp with a 7-pin plug-in. Would also love to have recommendation on brake controller and harness that will fit the factory plug. Thanks, Mike previous customer

Hey Michael, for your 2020 Honda Pilot you're going to need to first install a 4 pole using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C56291. From here, you'll then be able to install a 7-way using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.
As far as a brake controller goes, I recommend checking out the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR. This brake controller will work with trailer's that have up to 3 axles, is compatible with electric or electric over hydraulic brakes, and mounts out of sight behind the dash.
