Question:
How high above the crossbars will the highest point of the SkyBox NX 18 be? I have 18inch clearance above the crossbar through my garage entrance, and Im trying to figure out if Ill be able to get it in with the box on my 2021 Subaru Outback Limited.

Hello Ari. The Yakima SkyBox NX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y45AV is 16-1/2" tall. The clamps are more or less flush with the bottom of the box. Meaning the box itself will add 16-1/2" of height to your Subaru. With 18" of clearance in your garage you should be good. Still, I do suggest that you use caution the first time you pull the vehicle in or out of the garage with the box on it, just to be 100% safe and 100% sure that it will fit without any problems.
