Recommendation For Carrying Champion Generator Behind a 2000 Coachmen Travel Trailer w/ 2" Receiver

Question:
I have a 2000 Coachmen Futura 28foot Travel Trailer. This TT has a rear 2inch Hitch and no bumper. I need to transport my generator Champion Power Equipment 200953 4250-Watt Open Frame Inverter and I am looking to find a solution that works behind my TT. Thanks!

With the size of your Champion Generator 200953(23.4" wide, 27.9" long and 21.7" tall I recommend using the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier # PS1040100. This has a 47-3/4" long by 31-3/4" wide inner tray and can support up to 400lbs so you could carry additional items with your 90lb generator if needed. Do be sure to verify with Coachmen you do not exceed any capacities on your hitch or trailer with the additional items. We do have the Cover # CH97FR which will protect your generator when not in use from the elements.
