Will a MaxxAir MaxxFann Deluxe Roof Vent Mount In Place Of a Fantastic Roof Vent?

Question:

I have a fantastic model 2000btsb, the motor is bad. I know I can replace the motor. Going to replace the entire unit. The unit has a date of 03/06 on it. I understand that the FV803350 is the direct replacement and the FV807350 is the same unit with remote. My unit that Im replacing is wired to a wall switch. I read that these can be wired to a wall switch. Do you need to buy anything extra to wire to wall switch. Reading on your site that the Maxxair MA00-07000K can be wired to a wall switch. I like that you are able to exhaust air and move air inside the coach with the lid closed. Will the Maxxairs be a direct replacement to the Fantastic vents. Thanks for your time, DJ

You will not need any extra parts to wire either the Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent # FV803350 or # FV807350 in place of your current fan.

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07000K would be the route I would go thanks to its additional features. No matter which vent you go with you will need an Install Kit # 344270KITW.
