Michael, for your 2020 Kia Sportage I'd recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e72TR. This hitch has a 3,500 lbs weight capacity, a 2" receiver so it'll be compatible with just about any hitch accessory, and is made in the USA.

Hello again, so my 2020 Sportage lx tow capacity is 2000lbs with trailer brakes. Ill have 3 passengers with a combined weight of 600lbs, thats NOT including camping gear, clothes and blankets. With that being said, is it worth it to get a hitch and if so, what weight should i be looking for in a tent trailer? Im confused and new to having a hitch. Do I go by the dry weight or the GWV? I need some serious advice on what weight tent trailer I should be getting?
