Question:
Thinking about replacing my Maxxfan 6200 with a 7500K with remote control. Will it fit the base plate that is used for my 6200? Or do I have to change every thing out?

Hi Arthur,
Yes, you can 100% replace your MaxxFan 6200 with the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-07500K.
The fans each fit the exact same opening and roof thickness so you can use the same garnish that you currently have. The 7500K does come with its own garnish but you don't have to use it if you don't want to. This is a really smart upgrade because the Deluxe with remote is so much more convenient and easy to use than the manual 6200.
The vent does come with the install hardware, though you'll still need Sealant like part # 0160299. And just to be thorough, I also wanted to mention that the # MA00-07500K is the option with the Smoke-colored dome, but is also available in White at part # MA00-07000K.
