I just installed your ITEM AKUBRK-35 brake backing plates with shoes. Are they free backing or do I need to install a solenoid @ the master cylinder? Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob,
The Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKUBRK-35 are not free-backing. So you would need to install a solenoid like the Demco # DM11993.
