Question:
Id like to purchase one of these two alternative hitches for my 2014 Mazda 3 hatchback, for use as a bike-rack mount so light duty: 306-X7303 306-X7305 I see the difference in the attachment geometry, but is anything else significantly different? Do you recommend one over the other? Thanks for any info.

Thanks for reaching out, Mark!
Since your 2014 Mazda 3 is a Hatchback you'll need the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7305. The alternative hitch, part # 306-X7303, is only a fit for the Sedan version of your vehicle so it won't even fit your Hatchback.
If you don't already have a bike rack I highly recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 Base # BA22B because it's super durable and is extremely easy to use. On top of that it looks pretty sweet and a lot of people end up leaving it on their vehicle full-time because they like how it makes their vehicle look.
Attached is an installation video of the hitch as well as a review of the NV 2.0 Base for you to reference!
