Where to Put the Negative Wires When Installing the Progressive Dynamics 4100 Series RV Converter
Published 04/18/2024 >
Question:
I have a 2005 T@B tear trailer - currently with an American enterprises converter model CS3000XL. I know I need the PD4135K converter to replace it. My question is about the DC negative current wiring. My current setup has all of the negative DC wires going to a bus bar inside the current converter box. With the PD4135K where would my negative wires go? I know that there are connections for + wires, but not for -. I’m not sure where to ground them. Do I need to purchase a bus bar to be installed outside of the converter box? Any recommendations? Thank you

Thanks for the picture! For the Progressive Dynamics item # PD4135K you can add a bus bar and ground it directly to the frame. You will need to make sure whatever bus bar you get has enough spaces for all of your negative wires and one to go to your Tear trailer's frame. We do not have them so you'll want to source one from your local hardware store.
