Older Reese 5th Wheel Hitch Head Moving
Published 04/16/2024 >
Question:
I have a Reese 20 k 5th wheel hitch part 58293. Has a lot of movement in the head on one side wondering what it could be causing this or is there a bushing kit for that if there’s

Hey Ron; the # 58293 is the center section of the Reese Select Plus 30081. I have not heard of a head unit moving more just on one side, so my best guess is the center section where the head attaches or the head unit itself is damaged on that side. I'd go ahead and remove the head unit to see if there is something amiss there.
This 30081 has been discontinued for quite some time so I'm sorry to say there aren't any bushing kits or much in regards to replacement parts.
