Can I attach the RhinoRack fishing rod carrier RR572 to Yakima HD crossbars using the t-slot and not the universal clamps that come with the carrier? Are there any tie down cleats that will work with Yakima tracks?

Yes, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier # RR572 will allow you to mount to the T-slots on your Yakima HD crossbars. It does come with this hardware as the same bolts are used to hold on the universal clamps that will slide into the t-slots.
To secure your other cargo we do have the Eye Bolts # Y01162 you can use to tie off into.
