Question:

I was reading that the Firestone 2071 air bag suspension kit requires 7 1/2 between your frame and inside of wheel. I only have 7 . I have a 1996 ram 3500 pick up with 4x4.

Hey Shawn, good catch checking that on your 96 Ram. So you have a couple options. You could add a 1/2 inch wheel spacer to your rear axle to gain the additional clearance to use the part # F2071. Or you could go with the only option we have that works with your current clearance from Air Lift the part # AL59501 which only requires 6 inches. This does have a lower capacity at 2,000 lb of additional support.
