Recommended Trailer Hitch For A Toyota Corolla Hatchback

Question:

Hello, The Corolla cross and Corolla hatchback hitch mounting brackets look very similar. Is there any way you guys could tell me if dimensions between the two are the same or are they different? I want a 2” hitch for my Corolla hatchback for my bike rack because it is more stable than 1 1/4. Thanks for your time

Find anything out on whether the mounting brackets are the same for the Corolla cross hitch and the hatchback?

@JonathonE I finally got my hands on both of the Curt # C64DR and # C11567 and found that while they are SUPER close to being the same one of the bolt holes on the # C64DR is about a 1/4" off from the same hole in the # C11567. With these holes being slotted you might be able to make it fit but without actually having the vehicle in to test this we can not confirm that the # C64DR would work on your 2024 Hatchback model.

@Jonathon The # C64DR is a bit larger with the tubing being 2" instead of 1-1/4" so you could also run into spacing issues with other components of your vehicle. With the vehicle and hitches in hand it would be a quick check though.

Now does curt have a manual that has dimensions or measurements for both?

@Jonathon If they do they unfortunately do not share it. Every hitch measurement question we get we have to hope we have the hitch in stock at our location or request it and then go out to the warehouse and measure it ourselves. Depending on the popularity of the hitch we might not have it right away so getting dimensions can take time.
