Can Dexter Equalizer Trailer Suspension Kit # K71-359-00 Work on 2009 EZ Loader Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 2009 model year EZ Loader dual axel bass boat trailer that I need to replace the equalizers, hardware and shackle assemblies. My leaf springs appear to be good. My axels are @ 33-1/4inch CTC, equalizers are 5-3/4inch CTC and the center hole is 2inch above the two that are at 5-3/4inch CTC. My shackles are 4”- 4-1/4inch long and holes are @ 2-3/4inch CTC. Please let me know if the K71-359-00 Kit will work on my trailer, or if there is a different kit that would be better. With the dimensional differences, if I use the K71 kit, what variables might change in regards to trailer height or any other things I should be aware of. Thanks, Kenny H.

Hey Kenny, yes the Dexter Equalizer kit part # K71-359-00 will work on your 2009 EZ Loader trailer. The dimensions match or in some cases are very close to matching. You wouldn't see any significant differences in geometry or ride height either.
