Does Replacement 7 Quart Vertical Pump Assembly LC251910 Need to Mount Vertically
Updated 03/19/2024 | Published 03/18/2024 >
Question:
Hi, I had purchased a new 2022 jayco north point 5th wheel. It came from factory with this pump for the level up system. The pump is mounted horizontally on a shelf in the front compartment and everytime you travel the fluid seeps out from the fill cap. My question is, is this pump ok to be mounted horizontally or should I have a different pump. I saw the description says vertical. Thanks, Steve

Hey Steve, so the Replacement 7 Quart Vertical Pump Assembly for Lippert Components Hydraulic Leveling System # LC251910 that you have is a vertical only setup. If yours isn't vertical that would be why it is leaking and you'd need to reposition it.

The pump is unable to be repositioned where it is located. Since the rv is still under warranty I am going to see if the dealer will swap it out for the correct horizontal unit. Thank you for the info
