Will 2008 Chevy Silverado Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Replace Front Tow Hooks

Need towing base frame plate for 2008 chev 1500 4x4 I have the blue ox towing bar will the new plate slide in frame where I pulled the round piece that you hook on to pull your truck out of the mud

Great question, Jimmy!
The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1674 will replace the front tow hooks on your 2008 Chevy Silverado, yes.
The installation is a little more involved than just sliding the plate kit into the frame, but if you're comfortable working on vehicles it's still a pretty straightforward installation especially when compared to other vehicles where the front bumper needs to be completely removed.
