Question:

I am interested in a hitch Curt and a wiring harness for my 2009 Toyota Sienna. I put a hitch on my 99 Sienna with no problems and am not worried about that but was wondering if you could give me a detailed instruction on what I would have to do to install the wiring harness it would help me decide if I could do it myself or have someone else do it. Thanks.

To wire your 2009 Toyota Sienna for towing, I'd recommend the Curt # C55580 wiring harness. I'll link you to an install video showing a similar wiring harness from another manufacturer being installed on a 2008 Sienna. The install procedure shown in the video will be identical to yours.

As you can see from the video, the installation is fairly simple. A person of average mechanical ability should be able to handle it with no problem. If after viewing the video, you determine that the install isn't something you feel comfortable attempting yourself, any trusted mechanic should be able to complete the installation pretty quickly.
