Question:
Is there a pin with lock which can be used to secure the hitch head to the base?

Expert Reply:
We have spoken with B&W about this before, and the best option that has been suggested to lock the hitch head of the B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch is a cable lock, as there isn't a padlock or pin lock for the head unit. So for that what I recommend is an adjustable cable lock:
- Python Adjustable Cable Lock # 8419DPF
I like this adjustable lock because it will allow you to tighten the cable, and that along with the fact it is made with 5/16" diameter braided steel which is designed to resist cutting will make it far more difficult for a thief to navigate. You can wrap the cable lock around the head and the base and tighten it, which will make for the best possible theft deterrent for the head unit.
