Helpful Expert Reply:
In many states if your rear license plate is obstructed from view by a bike rack, luggage rack or a similar device, a vehicle owner has the option to obtain a temporary license plate. This third license plate is a paper document that is placed on the interior of the vehicle's rear window in a manner clearly visible from the outside of the vehicle, but doesn't obstruct the driver's view out of the rear window.
Another option is to use the bike rack you want to use and move the plate to an area of the vehicle, trailer, or RV that is more visible.
For a license plate bracket, if you need one that has a light you can use # PM436B. I have linked a video review of this bracket for you. For a plain bracket with no light we have # LP15SB.
