Question:

I found out that my trailer is coming with an undermount/underslung/bottom mount coupler. Will the Curt TruTrack 4P work with an underslung coupler?

You can technically make the Curt TruTrack fit with an underslung coupler by using longer brackets like the 8" # C17515 or 10" # C17516 but I don't really recommend doing this because the TruTrack wasn't really designed to work with an underslung setup.

Instead, I recommend using a weight distribution system designed specifically for an underslung coupler like what we find with the 10K Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU55FR which works well with loaded trailer tongue weights in the 800 lbs - 1,000 lbs range.

If this doesn't match the tongue weight rating of your new trailer please let me know what you have and I'll be more than happy to make a different recommendation for you!
