Question:
I have a Classic Brake Buddy that finally stopped working. What is the cheapest replacement for this? I want to be able to move it between vehicles.

When it comes to cost prices do fluctuate but at this time the lower end of the spectrum is going to be the Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494 and then the Select 3 # HM39524. From there is the Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400 and then the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR.
Out of these options I personally prefer the Select 3 # HM39524 because you get a remote that allows you to adjust your brake settings on the go without having to leave the cab of the motorhome. With the Brake Buddy systems each towed vehicle would require a wire harness connector # HM39342 in order to power the unit. I've attached a few review videos below where you can get a better look at these systems before making a decision.
