Question:

trying to install BX1730 on a 2024 Chevy Equinox. Watch video on a 2023 by Ryan. I am up to the point of removing the Facia. Trying to separate the Facia just above tire. Ryan says just pull and it will pop free. The 2024 must have a different clip. It does not just snap off. Can someone give me a tip on getting it seperate

What you are experiencing is not all that uncommon. New vehicles like your 2024 Chevrolet Equinox can be rather difficult to remove some of the parts as all the clips are very stiff with the vehicle being brand new. And depending on your area and the weather it can be made more difficult in the cold. As Brad demonstrates on the install video for the Blue Ox Base Plate # BX1730 linked below he does also use some soapy water sprayed into the fascia parts to help release the clips behind the panels. Do verify you have removed all the clips and screws necessary to remove the fascia as well. A good set of Trim Tools # PT73HJ will also make removing the clips much easier.
