Solution For Replacement Grease Seal With 1.72 ID and 2.33 OD
Published 01/16/2024 >
Question:
I have a small Chinese made trailer made to haul a motorcycle. It has a 1500 pound GAWR. The hub grease seals seem to be double lip with a 2.33OD and a 1.72ID. I do not see any such animal listed on your website. Have anyone seen a grease seal with these dimensions? Any help would be appreciated.

Expert Reply:
Although I do not know of a grease seal that matches those exact dimensions you can use the # 010-180-00. The outer diameter is 2.33" so that is an exact match. The ID is slightly smaller at 1.68" but the rubber has some stretch to it so it will work with your spindle.
