Considering buying new GM truck that is gooseneck prepped. Currently have Curt Q20 hitch mated to adapter to gooseneck in bed. What adapter do I need to use current 5th wheel hitch in prepped package? Trailer gross is 16,500#.

Congrats on your potential new purchase! To use a Curt Q20 in the GM factory puck system on the new trucks you'll need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch item # C88KR.

The Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch item # C47BR you were looking at fits the GM puck system in the trucks built from 2016 - 2019. GM changed their pattern in 2020. Any GM truck with a puck system built afterwards has to use item # C88KR.
