What is the Total Length of the BoatBuckle Snap-Lock Boat Cover Tie-Down Straps when Unbuckled

Question:
In your video, the comutator says the strap length of the one-inch straps is four feet long. The straps look like their total length is about eight feet long which is what I need.....Please check on this and let me know at :

If the entire length of the strap was laid out flat with the snap lock unbuckled the overall length is 8 feet.
This product is listed as 4 feet because that is the maximum length of the strap when it is buckled. Basically it has a 4 foot max length when buckled.
