Tow Bar Lighting Kit Recommendation for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that Allows Blind Spot Detection

Question:

Hi, I had a towing kit installed on my jeep wrangler 2017 rubicon, to tow it behind my motorhome. I was told they had uses an etrailer kit for that. After installation and on a trip to Alaska I realized that the right blind spot sensor on the jeep was inoperative. A dealership in Texas told me that the installation of the diodes and a splitinch disabled the blind spot. They disabled the towing light wires, no the sensor works but my right brake and turn signal doesnt. Any idea what new kit I can buy, even if it means doing all from stretch to solve that issue ? tnx and happy new year

I would go with the Hopkins tow bar lighting kit part # HM56200 for your 2017 Jeep Rubicon. This is a custom fit harness that does not use diodes so it would prevent the issue you are having.
