Question:

I have a 2023 Rav4 Prime xse with the kick open tailgate door.Do you know if your hitches work with the kick open door stuff under the rear bumper. Thanks

Any aftermarket hitch like the etrailer # e23ZR has the potential to interfere with the hands-free liftgate sensor on your 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE. In most cases, it will still function with proper foot placement on either side of the receiver. Sometimes you have to play around with it to find just the right spot.

However, it is also possible to lose the function entirely. The placement of the sensors isn't as exact as you might think which is why it may no longer operate as intended. Most customers have reported that it will still operate following the hitch installation.
