Question:
I am looking to add these to my Fj cruiser with the intent to purchase a 3 set of 47inch t slot extrusion bars to connect to the back bones for the purpose of placing a roof top tent on the rack. Will this process work?

Expert Reply:
The Rhino-Rack Backbone Mounting System for Pioneer Platform # RR38QJ would be able to be attached to your 2007 FJ Cruiser, but it only has a 220lb capacity so it wouldn't be able to handle the weight of a rooftop tent. If your FJ Cruiser has a naked roof then the only option for a rooftop tent would be to tow a small trailer with crossbars like the Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129.
