Question:
I am having trouble removing the head from the cross-member of my new A25 hitch for the gmc puck system. I have removed the pin with the grab handle but it wont come out. Does anything else need to be removed?

Expert Reply:
Thee Center Pin # C83UR is the only portion of the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C24FR which needs to be removed to remove the head. I do know when the unit is new it does take a lot to remove the head assembly due to the tight fit of the bushings inside the head. If you have your trailer you can leave the head locked onto the hitch and use the landing gear to remove the head until it becomes easier.
