Expert Reply:
Considering the fact base plates are made for the 2004 Chrysler Sebring Convertible and it can be flat towed I'm sure they have. However, this can only be done with the five speed manual transaxle model with the gear selector in neutral. If you want to flat tow a 2004 Sebring you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, wiring, and a supplemental braking system. I recommend the following:
-Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 270-1
-etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plates # e44ZR
-Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
-Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System - Proportional # BLU37TR
More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter. I have attached a helpful article below which explains how to measure to choose the correct adapter for your application. I also included a link to all of our available high-low adapters for your reference.
