Recommended Roof Rack For Track-Style Rails On An A.R.E. Truck Topper

Question:

I bought a used top for my truck that already had rails installed. Are rails universal? Can I buy any racks to install on the rails? Or are racks only compatible with their own manufacturer’s rails? Any information would be most appreciated.

The tracks installed on your A.R.E. topper will allow you to slide in track style roof rack feet like the Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLT600. These have little blocks that slide into the tracks and bolts that thread into them to mount the feet. Since we don't know the exact style of your tracks these blocks might not fit perfectly but they can be trimmed down or replaced if they end up not fitting.

From there we'd need to measure the distance between the two tracks so that we can pick out the correct sized crossbars. We have to be pretty close to this measurement because the Rhino-Rack Vortex bars only have so much track space on the bottom to connect to the feet. Too large or too little of a crossbar would prevent them from being able to connect to the tracks. I've attached a link to the available sizes below but would be happy to help find the correct fit if you can tell me the distance from center to center of the tracks.
