Question:

The PD1610A doesn't acknowledge what kind of battery you are using. I'm looking to upgrade to a 2000 watt Inverter/charger that will work with 200ah of lithium batteries.

I recommend replacing your Progressive Dynamics 1000 Watt Inverter # PD94FR with the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger # 34280055. This will allow you to select the correct charging profile for sealed/gel, AGM, flooded/wet cell, and lithium batteries. This will protect the Lithium Batteries # GP99QR in your battery bank. This inverter/charger also includes a transfer switch so it will automatically turn off the inverter when it sees shore power coming in.

Be sure to verify with the instructions linked at the bottom of the page to determine if your wiring will also need upgraded due to the higher output of the inverter.
