Edge Performance EZ Recommendation for High and Low Output 2004 Dodge Ram Cummins

Published 04/08/2014

Question:

2004 Dodge Ram, with 5.9L I6 Cummins diesel. Your web page lists 3 chips for the Cummins 5.9L I6 engine. The EP30203 says it excludes the high output engine, but in the very next product ad below this states that it is for use on the high output motor, but both ads use the exact same part number of EP-30203. Which one is correct for which engine? The ads are very confusing. You also show a EP-30204 but it doesnt state whether its for the standard or high output engines. Can you please clear up the confusion on your site, as I am interested in purchasing one of these but need to feel confident I am choosing the proper part. Thank you,

The Edge EZ for Dodge Cummins 5.9L, 24V, Common Rail part # EP30203 that you referenced is designed for the low output (305 horsepower) Cummins motors, while the part # EP30204 that you referenced is for the high output motors (325 horsepower). I checked with Edge Products to confirm this.
