We have a 2014 Ford Edge and need a base plate and wiring installed. Ours is 3.5 V6. Do we need the cruise control option? And what parts do we need? We have the blue ox tow bar and wiring installed on our motorhome already

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX2628 that fits your 2014 Ford Edge works with the models with or without the Adaptive Cruise Control feature. I have linked an installation below to help you get it set up.
To flat tow your 2014 Ford Edge you will need the following parts:
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267 or if you already have the cable you will just need the following parts to connect to your Edge's lights and control them:

Roadmaster Bent Electrical Socket Bracket item # RM-910030-5
