Curt 1-7/8inch ball attaching to drawbar. what tools are needed to tighten the one inch nut and the chrome ball to the drawbar?

Expert Reply:
To install hitch ball # C40001 you will need a wrench wide enough to fit around the wrench flats on the ball, a torque wrench good for up to 160 foot pounds and a socket for the nut. You could also use a bench vise if you do not have a wrench large enough. You can also put the ball mount in the hitch receiver side ways and then use the wrench and torque wrench to tighten it.
If you do not have a torque wrench or socket large enough, many auto parts stores can loan out tools.
