Question:

I have a 5th wheel hitch in the back of my 2019 2500 Chevy Silverado Duramax with the 6foot 6inch bed. My question is, when the tri fold Leer LE82FR is installed and folded back how long does it extend into the bed and how high is it with all three sections sitting together? I am interested in knowing if I can always have this tri fold installed, fully open when the trailer is not attached and folded back with 1/3 still sitting on the bed and trailer attached?

For the 6' 6" bed models of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 you're going to want the Leer Hard Tonneau Cover item # LE34VR. Item # LE82FR fits the Silverado 1500's with the 5-3/4' bed lengths only.

We don't have the exact measurement of how far it extends into the bed when all three sections are folded up and the cover is sitting vertically but it does not extend past the side pockets closest to the cab. It stands up 26" so you will have no visibility out of your back window.

When the Leer Hard Tonneau Cover item # LE34VR is folded back to the last section so 1/3 it sits 26" inside your truck bed measured from the front of the bed closest to the cab. It'll stick up 3" from the top of your bed rails in this orientation.
