I have a E-16 5th wheel hitch. Is there another head that can interchange with that base ? If so, what are its advantages over the E 16 Curt factory head ?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Curt E16 Hitch Head can be swapped out for the Curt A-Series or Q-Series. The A-Series is the new design and what I recommend using. It has a more secure locking jaw system than the Q-Series among a few other things. I recommend using part # C16520 or if you want to upgrade capacity, part # C16540 for 20,000 lbs.
