No, you shouldn't need spacers when installing Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Rear # F2609 on your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 with the X31 package. This is because the X31 package does not include a lift/level kit.

If the dealer for some reason installed a lift/level kit after the truck arrived from the factory, then you will in fact need to measure and find out which spacer you need. Find the factory bump stop on the suspension and measure from the top bracket to the bottom bracket (this is where the air bag will be installed). Compare measurements to below.

Space between brackets:
Less than 6.5" - no spacer needed.
6.5" to 7.5" - part # F2536
7.5" to 8.5" - part # F2366
8.5" to 9.5" - part # F2368
