Hello, I am looking for a recommendation for a portable air compressor. My wife is notorious for ending up with flat/low tires and I want to get something that she can keep in the soccer mom van to use on the go. Something easy to set up and use. Preferably with a digital display. What do you recommend? Thanks for your time and effort. etrailer is the best!

I am happy to recommend an air compressor for you. Let me say that I can relate to your issue, perhaps more than you realize. After looking thru and comparing what we have in stock, I have come to the conclusion that the Bulldog Winch Portable Air Compressor # BDW41004 will be the way to go. Let me tell you why.

It will be extremely easy to set up and use. The power cord will go into the 12v (cigarette lighter) plug inside the vehicle. The air hose is 20' long so it will easily reach the rear tires of your van. The digital display allows you to simply set the desired pressure, and it will automatically shut off when that pressure is reached. The air hose will screw on to the valve stem, so you will not have to stand there and hold the hose while inflating. You can get back in the van and just wait till it is done - a big plus on colder days. An emergency light is built in to the side of the compressor, so if you are inflating on the side of the road, it will help with visibility and safety. It also comes with a couple of adapters, so you can inflate your pool floaties or soccer balls. The power cord and air hose can be stored inside the compressor itself, and it all comes in a convenient carrying case.
