Will this vent work for vertical wall applications

The JR Products Mushroom Vent # 37202-29115 will do a great job keeping out water in a horizontal application. In the vertical position, the mushroom lid would not keep out water as intended, and it would likely admit water into the interior of the vehicle. Also in a vertical application, especially the side of a camper, crosswinds may cause the lid to come loose from the base much too easily.
Instead I suggest you take a look at the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent # HMAV2-AVT2, as it is designed to be used in a vertical wall application.
