Solution for Older Thule Roof Bike Rack that Only Fits Square Bars to Fit Subaru Outback

Question:
I have a Thule Inno Fork Lock III Roof Bike Rack purchased ~2008?. Used for years on a BMW wagon with square cross bars. Want to now mount on a 2019 Subaru Outback with aero-style bars ~2inch width. Is there an adaptation possible for the two, bar connections to secure this? Or, is this too old to adapt and need to replace? see photos of two connectors Thanks!

Since there isn't an adapter to convert your current roof bike rack to fit aero style bars it would be time to upgrade your rack to one that is compatible like the Thule TopRide part # TH75JV. This is a similar fork mount style bike rack confirmed as a fit for the aero bars of your 2019 Subaru Outback.
